Since 2012 I have been working intensively with photography and the visual language.
During my studies I got to know the ins and outs of analog & digital photography and image editing. In this period I started to produce independent as well as commissioned artist work in which photography works as a medium to analyse, create, and comprehend places, people and societal situations.

Last years I have been simultaneously active within the field of business photography and visual design.
Based in Brussels, I am available for commissioned artist work and commissioned business photography.
Portraits (single, double or group), studio work on location or in a studio space, reportages, creative thinking and other visual work.

We live in a slice of time where editing tools, 3D imagery, AI-generated images, augmented and virtual reality and other visual tools are thoroughly shaking our perceptions and ideas of what we perceive as reality - and what not.

A critical attitude towards images, the process of image making, the presentation and the consumption is therefore needed. Either in personal lives as in the professional use that underpin our society and collective view. This critical attitude can be seen as necessary for the visual maker and people (s)he/it/ze/they/them works with, but also for the viewer(s).

As a documentary artist, I work mostly with existing places, people and real life situations.
Their representation is of high importance to me.
My documentary work is made through collaboration with the people involved.
